The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced a sweeping ban on importing new foreign-manufactured humanoid robots, quadruped robot dogs, and solar power inverters. Citing critical national security risks, federal officials warned that overseas-produced hardware could be leveraged for covert surveillance, remote control tampering, or infrastructure-level cyberattacks.
